Thread Lift
A Tread lift is a procedure that uses a dissolvable suture to tighten and lift your skin. It’s a less invasive procedure than facelift surgery and can often be performed in under 45 minutes without needing to go under a scalpel. Thread lifting is easy to smooth wrinkles and tighten sagging skin without surgery. The procedure involves inserting threads into the soft tissues, pulling tight, lifting the skin. As a result, the face is refined, volume restored, and the effects of ageing are significantly reduced
The threads we used is 100% absorbable. As absorbable threads dissolve naturally, the skin produces more collagen and elastin, which gives a longer-lasting result. The threads are inserted without an incision in the skin, so the procedure is safe. Thread lifts can be used to treat several different areas, which includes the following:
- Soothing horizontal and vertical forehead wrinkles
- Lifting the brow and outer eyebrow area and restoring volume to sagging cheeks.
They can also smooth lines around the mouth and tighten sagging skin under the lower jaw and lift and rejuvenate various body parts. Results are evident immediately after the procedure and can last from 1 to 3 years, depending on the thread composition.
It’s vital to have a consultation before the procedure. The best candidates for thread lifting are aged 35 to 55 for both men and women and have relatively good skin tone with a bit of sagging. If there is too much loose skin, surgery may be the best option.
PDO Threads
Polydioxanone (PDO) thread lifts use a biodegradable polyester surture. They’re best suited for rejuvenating your skin while some newer types of thread lifts are better at lifting sagging skin. The presence of these sutures in your skin triggers cells in your body called fibroblasts to produce more collagen. Collagen is the protein that gives your skin its structure and elasticity.
Anchor Max Threads
Anchor Max is a newly developed long-lasting PDO and PCL thread that is produced by a PRESS SCULPTING METHOD without any heat treatment. These threads are nearly three times the strength of a popular anchor thread and they last nearly as long as 12-18 months.
Polylactic acid (PLA) / Caprolactone (PCL)
In 1999 the semi-permanent lifting thread APTOS was created from polylactic acid, caprolactone, and hyaluronic acid. The beauty of Hyaluronic Acid HA in APTOS accelerates healing and inflammation. Together with the action of the threads, it stimulates collagen and elastin fibres. You will notice a significant improvement in the lifting of saggy skin and your skin quality. The threads and the HA are Bio-compatible, which means your skin will recognise it as natural with a consequential low adverse effect profile.
